Call for Papers
Teams participating in SAPC2 have the opportunity — but are not required — to submit a workshop paper describing their system, to be presented at the SAPC2 competition workshop at NeurIPS 2026 in Sydney, Australia. The SAPC2 session is tentatively scheduled for Friday, December 11, 2026, 15:30–17:45 (Room MR C4.3), subject to change. The workshop paper is non-archival: submitting here does not prevent teams from later submitting the same or an extended version of the work to other venues (e.g., Interspeech, ICASSP).
Key Dates
Submission Requirements
- Length: 3–6 pages, excluding references.
- Format: No specific template is required; we recommend the NeurIPS style template.
- Submission site: OpenReview. If you run into any issues submitting, please contact us.
- Review process: Lightweight. Papers will not be rejected based on technical content — review checks only that a paper is relevant to the competition and clearly written enough to understand.
- Anonymity: Single-blind (author names visible to reviewers).
- Archival status: Non-archival. Submitting a paper here does not prevent later submission of the same or extended work to other venues (e.g., Interspeech, ICASSP).
Eligibility
Submitting a workshop paper is optional. It is not required to compete in the challenge, to be eligible for the prize pool, or to attend the workshop — it is offered as an opportunity for teams to present their work to the workshop audience. Teams who wish to present at the workshop should still confirm their intent to attend by the deadline above. Papers should describe the submitted system(s), including methodology and any additional data used.
